Tanya Burr Martha Moo Luxe Lip Gloss REVIEW and swatches

If you are looking for an affordable liquid lipstick, look no further than Martha Moo from Tanya Burr Cosmetics.

This £5.99 liquid lip ticks all the boxes when it comes to an affordable, on trend lip colour.  Not only is the shade very much on trend, a very wearable mauvey nude, the formulation is also great. It is a light, whipped texture that wears very well on the lips. It sets down to a completely matte finish, yet does not feel drying at all. It also layers up quite nicely, as it does not cake or bunch up at all.

How does it wear? Pretty damn well. It lasts for hours before starting to wear away ever so slightly in the center of the lips (more so toward the inside of the lips) but I find that with most liquid lips. It is not a problem either as it layers up really nicely, so touch ups are nothing to worry about.

I love the shade as I find it is far easier to wear than a lot of the nude shades going around right now. It is still very on trend but has a lot more pink in it, which makes me slightly less dark and more wearable. If you are slightly paler in complexion I feel this will work really well for you. I find with a lot of these types of shades they end up looking super dark on. Martha Moo pulls enough pink to keep it looking slightly lighter on the lips.

My overall though of the Tanya Burr Luxe Lip Gloss is it is great. Especially for only £5.99. How it feels and wears on the lips compares to liquid lips three times the price. The colour is totally gorgeous, too.

July Favourites

Tanya Burr Matte Lip in Martha Moo // £5.99
Another liquid lip to add to the collection. I am really impressed with the formula of this. It is very long wearing and comfortable on the lips. Not as light as some other liquid lips I have tried but by no means heavy or thick. The colour is beautiful! I feel like it is a great option for those who want that on trend mauvey-nude shade but a lot of them come up too dark (in my case, from being so pale. Weh.) It pulls of the perfect amount of rosy pink and nude at the same time.

Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray // £6.99
I forgot how bloody good this stuff was! For £6.99, I can easily say this is one of the best and most affordable texturising sprays I have tried. I bought this when I first got my hair cut into a lob (almost 2 years ago. Mental.) but the cap broke and I forgot all about it. Well, I picked it up again from Boots and I have totally fallen in love. This is a great option for anyone with super fine hair (Ahem, me) who struggles with their curls staying in place but also wants to add that messy/undone look to your hair. It gives a lot of hold, without being too heavy or stiff in the hair and messes up your hair to that perfectly tousled, textured look. I will say, however, trying to brush this out the next morning is a nightmare and if your hair is particularly dry, this might be a little too much for you. Other than that though, I love it!

B. Hyaluronic Acid Spritz // £7.99
Yet another facial spray. I like this one because it is super hydrating. I love the fact is has hyaluronic acid in it yet it doesn't feel sticky or tacky on the skin at all. I layer this up generously between masks, treatments etc and it works a treat. Great for anyone with dehydrated skin that is looking for an instant boost of moisture.

Topshop Lip Contour Lip Liner // £6.50
I go between thinking this liner makes me look a bit dead and thinking it is the best thing since sliced bread and I want to wear it, and only it, for the rest of my life. I think it is possibly the fact I am not use to wearing this kind of shade that makes me think I look dead. It is far paler than any other lip product I own. I do love it though. I fill in my entire lip with it and usually just leave it there. It is surprisingly comfortable to wear despite being a liner and easy to top up and reapply.
