The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Sneak Peak

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea, The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Review, The Body Shop

One of my favourite things about working for The Body Shop is being able to get a sneak peak and play with all the new products before they officially release in store. Today, I have a special "staff insider" sneak peak of our brand new body care range that is due to launch in store next week.

This is The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea body care range. A huge range inspired by the traditional Japanese Green Tea ceremony. The range focuses on detoxing and revitalising, not only your body but your mind too.

The whole range has real, hand picked green tea leaves, from the Mount Fuji region of Japan. This is where the purest and best green tea leaves are produced due to its pristine environment.

The Fuji Green Tea range carries notes of bergamot, white flowers, lemon, jasmine and green tea (duh) to overall create a very fresh and uplifting scent, that is light and delicate on the skin. The fresh, crisp scent makes it perfect for Spring/Summer.

Let's talk about the products!

Like all our body care ranges, you have the classic, most loved products in there. Like our famous body butter, shower gel, boy scrub and lotion. These staple products are a must have in every body care regime. We have also introduced (well, last year..) "Body Sorbets". A lightweight, easily absorbed, very interesting textured body moisturiser that is perfect for Spring/Summer as it is super light on the skin.

The Fuji Green Tea range also carries some brand new products, that we have never had in before. My favourite has to be the Bath Salts and Tea strainer. The perfect pair for a relaxing, detoxing soak in the bath. The Bath Salts have real green tea leaves in, which provides antioxidant benefits to the skin and relaxes the mind. Use the tea strainer with these to get the most out of our bath salts, as it strains out every last drop of goodness, whilst keeping all the tea leaves in one place, making it mess free. Bonus!

The Fuji Green Tea range also has a new exfoliating soap, which again, uses real green tea leaves, this time to exfoliate and cleanse the skin.

There is also a brand new cologne in the Fuji Green Tea scent. This is powerful blend of bergamot, lemon and green tea as your top notes, with jasmine, voilet and camellia as your heart notes. As it is a cologne, a little goes a long way. Like the whole range, the scent is very crisp and fresh but the scent is stronger, without being overpowering.
